BLAIRSTOWN -- Joachim and Mary Ann Brana celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 18. The couple was married on Aug. 18, 1959.

The couple has five children, Joseph Brana, of Pennsylvania, Linda Mustica, of Connecticut, Christine Dabby, of Ridgewood, Lisa, of Lafayette, and Joanne McDole, of Hampton. They have 11 grandchildren, Nicholas, Steven, Mario Jr., Crystal, Anthony Jr., Giovanni, Josh, Max, Ashley, Justin and Emily.

The couple will celebrate with a private ceremony and a party, thrown by their children, at their daughter's house in Ridgewood.
