HAMPTON -- S. Robin Hartmann announces the engagement of her daughter, Shannon Lee Dyda, to Seamus T. Geddis, son of John and Elizabeth Geddis, of Sussex.

She also is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory A. Dyda, of Sparta, and the stepdaughter of Coleman S. Tooker, of Branchville.

The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Sussex County Technical School and a 2002 graduate of County College of Morris. She is a police dispatcher.

Her fiance is a 1998 graduate of High Point Regional High School and a 2002 graduate of Wilkes University. He is a police officer.

The couple will wed June 18, 2010, in Bridgewater.
