WANTAGE -- Donald and Theresa Liu announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Liu, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., formerly of Wantage, to Michael Williams, also of Dingmans Ferry. He is the son of Scott and Robin Williams, of Durham, N.C.

The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of High Point Regional High School and a 2004 graduate of the Capri Institute. She is employed by Salon Nevaeh in Franklin.

Her fiance is a 1999 graduate of Leesville High School in Raleigh, N.C., and a 2004 graduate of East Carolina University. He is a federal law enforcement officer.

A wedding is planned for Oct. 9, 2010.
