Aliza Krisanda, of Lopatcong in Warren County, recently donated 12 inches of hair to Locks of Love, a nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to children who suffer hair loss for medical reasons. Her hair was cut at Country  Classic Haircut-ters in Andover, owned by her grandparents, Bea and Hugh Rush. Aliza waited two years for her hair to grow long enough to donate to Locks of Love. She wanted to make the donation to help those who have cancer because, she said, “Seven years ago, my mother had cancer. I saved her life when I was just a baby. When she was breast-feeding me, she found a lump and that’s why she calls me her guardian angel.” Created: 8/2/2008 | Updated: 1/23/2009
