OCEAN CITY, Md. -- Abby Sullivan and William Phister were married on Saturday, June 27, in a ceremony on the beach on 139th Street.

Lindsey Mock, of El Segundo, Calif., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were April George Bloom, Alaina Sullivan Ingels, sister of the bride, Melissa Kolman Heimbuch and Jennifer Moatz Hess, all of Waynesboro, Pa. Joslynn Bloom, also of Waynesboro, was the flower girl.

Kyle Demarest, of Wantage, served as best man. Groomsmen included Jonathan Harkins, of Lakeland, Fla., Kyle Phister and Joseph Phister, of Lafayette, brothers of the groom, and William Varcadipane, of Wantage, cousin of the groom. Cole Harkins, of Lakeland, was the ring bearer.

Claire Martin, cousin of the bride, was guest book attendant and soloist.

A reception followed at the Elks Club of Ocean City.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Sullivan, of Waynesboro, Pa. She is a graduate of Waynesboro Area High School in Waynesboro, Pa. She received a degree in business management from Frostburg State University in 2007 and is enrolled in the MBA program. She works for Defense Information Systems Agency, Department of Defense, in Chambersburg, Pa.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Phister, of Lafayette. He graduated from Kadena High School, Okinawa, Japan. He is an Airborne Infantryman in the first of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment. He is in the Army 82nd Airborne Division based in Fort Bragg, N.C.

The couple honeymooned in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and are making their home in Chambersburg.
