CUSTER, S.D. -- Melissa Marie Polson and Scott Mazuy Martin were married on Aug. 22 at Camp Bob Marshall in Custer State Park. Will Peters, a Lakota Elder, officiated, assisted by Ruth Ann Colby Martin, the groom's sister-in-law.

The bride is the daughter of Brenda Dawson, of Okoboji, Iowa, and Richard Polson, of Spiceland, Ind.

The groom is the son of Susan Martin, of Wantage, and Richard Martin, of Augusta.

The couple is making their home in Hot Springs, S.D.
