WEST MILFORD — Two local men were arrested on drug offenses Thursday night. Robert S. Walsh, 21, and Ronald Reininger, 20, were arrested after a police officer observed them acting suspiciously at the vacant Wooden Spoon Deli on Warwick Turnpike.
Walsh allegedly had 28 bags of heroin and two hypodermic syringes; he was charged with possession of heroin with the intent to distribute it, among other offenses. He was taken to the Passaic County Jail, and bail was set at $5,000 with no 10 percent cash option.
Reininger was charged with being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.
Patrolman Robert Tomaschek investigated.
