Court updayts for 11/5: Man guilty of endangering child
 
A Linden man has admitted he engaged in sexually explicit computer conversation July 9, 2008, with someone he believed to be a minor, the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office said.

James A. Sheehan, 41, pleaded guilty to attempted endangering the welfare of a child, a third-degree crime. Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 8.

Prosecutor’s detectives David Perez-Rueda and Dianne Rude investigated the case with Hamburg detective Paul DeMott and Vernon detective Sean Talt.

Sheehan was represented by attorney Charles Clark, and the state was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Robin Lawrie.

Man, woman admit possessing heroin
A Vernon man has admitted he possessed 18 bags of heroin July 22 in Vernon, the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office said.

Michael Trivisani, 19, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a third-degree crime. Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 9.

A Hopatcong woman has admitted she possessed nine bags with trace amounts of heroin during her arrest on a bench warrant Aug. 8, the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office said.

Lisa A. Procacci, 19, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a third-degree crime. Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 9.
