Religious education classes resume
NEWTON — Religious education classes at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Sussex County have resumed. Children ages 6 and up can participate in a new program called “Bibleodeon!” a UU-based curriculum which introduces Hebrew and Christian scriptures by presenting some of the best-known Bible stories and characters in a fun
and interactive setting.

In addition to regular weekly classes, the students also will be involved in many social action projects during the year such as fund raising for local, national and international charities. The students also have an annual tradition of participating in food, clothing and book drives for donation to local assistance agencies.

Visitors and new students are always welcome. Child care for infants and toddlers also is provided.

The UUFSC Religious Education classes are held every Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Fellowship Hall, 1 West Nelson St. For further information, call (973) 579-7210 or visit www.UUNewtonNJ.org.
