IN THE COLLEGES 9/23/09
 

Christopher Tanga, son of Joe and Connie Tanga, of Byram, began his first year studies at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM), Lewisburg, W.Va. on Aug. 6.

Tanga is a 2004 graduate of Len-ape Valley Regional High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Gordon College, Wenham, Mass., in 2008.

Lauren E. May, of Sparta, and Keith R. Moreira, of Wantage, were named to the dean's list at Marist College, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., for the spring semester.

May is communications and public relations major.

Moreira is majoring in political science and international studies.

Berkeley College President Dario A. Cortes, PhD, has announced that students from Sussex County, NJ, have been named to the Dean's and President's Lists at Berkeley College for the Spring 2009 Quarter.

"Berkeley College is proud to recognize these students for their outstanding academic achievement," said Dr. Cortes. "Students who reflect this level of dedication to their studies become our future leaders."

The following students from Sussex County have been recognized:

Diane Sarno, of Stockholm, and Christina Mustachio, of Sussex, were named to the president's list at Berkeley College Online for the spring quarter.

The following local students were named to the dean's list at Berkeley College: Esme Kill, of Augusta; Natalie Wolak, of Columbia; Jeffrey Garrity and Amanda Hintzen, both of Franklin; Sheila Hellmich and Devon Hudak, both of Hopatcong; Katelin Lorito, of Lafayette; Victoria Forgione, of Newton; Jessica Ballew, of Sparta; and Kristen Fedor, of Wantage.
